Wife asked me to get her something from here.
Went in, browsed and was totally gobsmacked at the ridiculous prices they were charging....almost up there with Herbalife!!!!!!!!
Seriously, £9 for a few fish oil tablets...what a joke. Everything seemed to be upwards of £8 a bottle/box.
These things cost a few pennies per 100 to mass produce, and H&B are banging them out at £10 for 50. Nice mark up.
As well as that about 90% of the stuff they sell is of no benefit to any normal person.
IIRC even their yoghurt coated banana chips were £4 for a small bag that would be £2 in Tesco or £1 in Poundshops.

Personally, I'd consider yoghurt coated banana chips as no benefit to any normal person - regardless of the price I'd pay for them in Tesco or poundshops. :rotfl:0 -
Retailer with dominant market position in high margins shocker.
And as far as most retail is concerned, those margins aren't that huge. Especially when you factor in the various other operating costs.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0 -
The nuts are sometimes reasonable value when they do a multi-buy offer.0
