if you have been asked to take your bank statements it may be because of your ESA. are you on income related or contribution ESA? If you are receiving income related do you have savings over £6,000 ?. Try not to worry , i know its hard but if you have done nothing wrong then you have absolutely nothing to worry about. to answer your question about DLA , yes i think for interviews etc JCP does cover DLA0

I think it's income related ESA as I haven't been able to work for some time. Is it me worth calling them to ask what this letter is regarding ?
So this could be related to disability as well ?0 -
Yes you could ring them and see if they will tell you what its regarding. Though from what I'm aware they don't usually like telling you over the phone. They may tell you which benefit it concerns though so that may give you a sort of clue what you are dealing with. i.e. whether its a disability thing or an income / capital issue. Try not to worry like i said if you haven't done anything wrong you will be fine. Does it say on the letter whether its an interview under caution or from the compliance team?0

Thanks for the replies, no it does not mention anything thing about an interview under caution. Do these letters come only after somebody has reported you for some reason? Or are they standard ? As there has been no change in my circumstances only that my son is going to Uni and I have let child tax credit know about this and it will be stopped.0

I had a letter although it wasn't because I had been reported, there had been an issue with someone using my NI number to claim JSA yet I was claiming at the time. Take along what the letter says and you should have nothing to worry about since your innocent as you say.0
