Good luck with the car buying/selling. Am sure you'll be great at the former, will reserve judgement on the latter.
A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effortMortgage Balance = £0

Took me about ten years to realise this is a strength...my friends at school who got As almost inevitably got Cs and Ds too. If you're a jack of all trades...you can turn your hand to anything and get results, which means you have a good advantage in most situations over those who specialise.
Also another HUGE well done on walking out of that car dealership!!

Thank you for the encouraging post.
I was quite the "swot" at school and university, I did get A grades and achieve a First/Distinction but put in an awful lot of work to get there. However, I "got" school and academic work. What I didn't "get" was much more important: WORK, as in, you know PAID WORK.:mad::mad::rotfl:
My current business was made out of "something to do" whilst I was recovering from what I can only crudely describe as a mental breakdown. Now, I've spent too many years being ashamed of myself. Like you I can turn my hand to most things but doing "a proper job" is that step too far for me.2018 totals:

hahaha, had a few holidays like that too, you aren't the only one.Oh and freshers week; some of the things I did aged 18 will never be repeated for the sake of my dignity. Still I NEVER, EVER want my son to do ANY of the things I did when younger and hopelessly drunk.
Hope you are not at the dentist for anything other than a check up and good luck.2018 totals:

Unfortunalty got to have 3 teeth wisdom teeth out, but they've got to be done over 2 visits due to the location of them, so got same next Tuesday..... sure come out looking like Hannibal Lectar - when I had the 1st wisdo tooth out, my face was out like a balloon, teeth and lips got dried blood, instead of going home to rest I had to go to pets at home with DD - this one assistant came up and asked did I want the police calling... they thought been attacked..

Haha :rotfl: you, me and the rest of us! I'm a hopeless drunk! Dh said he used to ask me out because he never had much money but he knew with me he'd be able to get me drunk on a fiver and then have free entertainment all night whilst I danced on tables/ bars and acted like a complete drama queen over everything*cringe* so glad I never did drugs if I was like that after a few hooches lord knows what I would have done on anything stronger :rotfl::rotfl:
