iMeasure.org.uk update Sep 2013 - just how rubbish is it?
Wow, what a pile of , uhm, anyone any clue how to make it useable? Anyone got a view on how to find a decent view?
They are still wasting space with repeating the same data three times (consumption, carbon and cost - it's the same thing).
Graphs are worse. Messing around having to click on defaults to avoid stacking bars. Readings table defaulting to having alternating gas and electricity reads (instead of having them on the same row). Not including month name in words in dates.
It is possible to dig out the info but I can not see anything that is an improvement. And I can't find the heat days/weather adjusted data.

Yup is gone from good, through awkward to pseudo dumbed down.
However BG to the rescue they are fitting Smart meters next month. That gum you like is coming back in style.0 -
I agree. It wasn’t broken so why did they “fix” it? The pressing issue for me is the way that the data from sub-meters are now handled. In the past, the overview showed consumption for both gas and electricity using only the main meters. The software now adds any sub-meter readings to the total from the main meter and so approximately doubles my apparent current electricity consumption by adding my PV generation for the week to my real consumption figure drawn from the grid. I have pointed this out to the iMeasure support team, but it still hasn’t been fixed. The only real improvement that I can agree with is that the heating performance graph (indicating control efficiency) now only uses data from the last 12 months rather than from the day I signed up.0

trying to find some help using imeasure....I started putting in data about 8 weeks ago, but the system has put in very high readings for all the weeks before. I guess it 'thought' that for the whole of 2013 I used all the units of gas and electricity from 0 to 26000, or whatever the meter reading is now. Is there a way to set it up that it ignores the first reading like that?0

All my meters started with a significant value taken at the first reading but the system entered a consumption value of "0" for the first week. I suggest you report the issue to the Imeasure team via the contact form at http://www.imeasure.org.uk/contact.htmlwordsofpeace wrote: »Is there a way to set it up that it ignores the first reading like that?0
