Pricing the Erection of a Conservatory

We have just had a quote for the erection of a conservatory (Edwardian), 4 x 3mrs with a reverse hip backed roof and to put in the base (no manholes to be moved), we have been quoted £100 per square metre for the base, in total £2,500 for the base and to erect the conservatory. We also had a quote for installing a patio door 8 ft wide and taking out the bricks under the existing 8ft window and was quoted approx. £1100 (to include the patio door). These costs are of course in addition to the cost of the actual conservatory.

The labour costs seem high, what is the average price for putting in a conservatory base for Labour and the Patio Door ?
