taking back control from IFA

I have money invested in an investment bond on the advice of an IFA. I would like to take back control of it, but the company it is invested in doesn't deal with individuals, just with IFAs. How would I go about transferring my money?

Thanks in advance,
Stepatatime

Can you give some more detail on the Investment Bond?

Who is it with? When was it taken out? Are there any exit charges?

What would you plan to do with the money instead?

You cant just transfer investment bonds. It would require surrender which could create charges and a tax liability.

What sort of transfer do you want to do?

Within an investment bond there are often lots of investment choices, so changing investments inside a bond is often quite easy.
