Best Current Bank Account?

Hi, I'm looking to change my current bank account after dreadful customer service from the bank I've been with for 30+ years (nothing to do with charges).
Moving my bank account will be a tedious business for me as the automatic process doesn't take care of my large number of incoming credits, so I need to get it right.
I would be pleased to hear about your positive banking experiences.
Things I am interested in for example are:
1. Good customer service.
2. UK based call centre with low cost telephone arrangements.
3. Easy to use secure online banking facilities.
4. Can you telephone your local branch?
5. Does your local branch have any authority to deal with issues on a one to one basis?
regards

Depending on your view, all banks are equally good or bad. None are interested in providing customer service, all decisions are made by computer, there is no personal service, all are only interested in selling you insurance/mortgage/credit cards and the customer is just a trivial inconvenience that gets in the way of the staff.Don't lie, thieve, cheat or steal. No branches, but you can pay money in at HSBC branches and use the phone and internet banking for everything else.4. Can you telephone your local branch?
The callcentre will deal with any issues quickly and on a personal basis.5. Does your local branch have any authority to deal with issues on a one to one basis?0
