Incapacity benefit migration top up ?

Can someone tells me how this is supposed to work as my wife is now getting £10 less than she was getting with IB ?

In the ESA letter it states ESA will be topped up to what she was getting before, bit confused, has anyone had a similar issue ?

She should be getting the same amount so needs to contact them to find out why. Does she have any other income such as pension etc?

What was she getting on IB?
When did IB finish and ESA start?
Did she pass the assessment ? into what group?

    Hi

She has been put in the wrag group and this is happening this week, she used to get £130 a week in incapacity payments and been claiming continously since 1996
She did not have an assessment face to face just filled out an eas50 a few months ago.

First thing you should know is that WRAG ESA C only lasts for 1 year after that she may not be entitled to any ESA if you work or you both have combined savings of more than £16000. More than £6000 in savings and there will be capital deductions. If she appeals and wins into Support Group her ESA C will not finish after 1 year.

She/you should phone 0845 6008192 to speak to IB Mig and ask them to explain.
