Kitchen unit quality

Hi,

I'm currently trying to get a plan together for replacing my kitchen.

I'm totally bamboozled by the manufacturers and ranges out there. The current designer/fitter is trying to channel me towards Chippendale which I know nothing about.

How do they compare say against Howdens for example?

I believe they are the same kitchens as Sheraton, made in the UK by Omega plc. Better than Howdens? I would say so, but not massively better, so if one is much more money than the other, I would bear this in mind when deciding. If you are going down the trade rather than retail route, have a look at Benchmarx as a comparison as well.

Thanks for the info. No Benchmarx near me unfortunately, in West Yorkshire.

The designer said he has accounts with pretty much any make of unit. Any you should definitely give a miss, or get the best value for pound with?
