credit card interest and debt drowning me!

I, as others have done advise the OP takes a trip to the debt free wannabe board, they are a friendly bunch who are in many cases in a similar predicament to yourself (many people are in a much tighter spot). Read the instructions at the top of the board and list your expenditure, and others will advise you where you may be able to save money.
Forum regulars advise those posting on these boards to ignore anything that ravenk writes, as he has a chip on his shoulder regarding a particular bank and thereby continues to write about it whatever the subject.
Directors bonuses? Bankruptcy? Hardly helps the OP out of their difficulty does it, particularly the latter as in almost all cases this should be avoided at all costs, and if he feels his solution will be the answer he need a serious reality check.0 -

Might haver guessed that would you think an interest rate of 27.9% was o.k. !
If I have a chip on my shoulder against any bank that charges 27.9% interest ..well sorry but I will live with that grudge.
Maybe all the press on huge city bonus is a lie.
The profit reports of 11 Billion for some banks is not true ....
27.9% interest is a resonable rate ...(whats the base rate at the moment ?)
Remind me how many people filed for Bankruptcy last year ? Was it down on previous years ?
If so then I'm sorry for my resentment0
