UPS left with a neighbour who never gave me my goods. Can I get a refund?

I ordered a pair of headphones online. UPS left a card to say that they'd been left with a neighbour. I spoke with the neighbour and she said she declined to take the package.
It been over a month now and no one has come forward with the package. Am I entitled to a refund as I haven't received my goods?

Short answer is yes, but it may be a struggle. You should get a refund from the supplier. The supplier should then seek recompense from UPS who in turn should seek recompense from your neighbour. (Assuming your neighbour is lying)
How did you pay?One important thing to remember is that when you get to the end of this sentence, you'll realise it's just my sig.0 -
Also remember that you only need to take to the supplier - it's not your job to chase UPS or your neighbour.0

Over a month?
Have you done anything other than speak to your neighbour?
Have you yet advised the seller of the problem?0 -
Thanks for the quick replies.
I paid on debit card.
I'll already spoken with the supplier (WAE+) but they keep giving me the run around and referring me back to UPS.
I'll take it up with them again.0 -
I've been in contact with WAE+ a couple if times. I've also asked all the othe neighbours in the block and no one's got it.0

Inform them that they have failed to complete the contract by delivering the goods to the correct recipient .
Also see if your card has chargeback, some debit cards do offer credit card style protection.
If it has call them and request a chargeback and let the company worry about UPS.Be happy...;)0 -
If the seller won't do the right thing, consider a chargeback.

If they try and get you to deal with UPS or along those lines, remind them you contracted them to deliver xyz to your address and as of yet, they have not upheld their end of the contract, so they are technically in breach. You keep using that word. Thanks very much. I'll speak with WAE+ again and if I need to i'll look at charge back.0
