Savings Account, Advice Needed!

I have an Investment Account with the Post Office at the moment which suits me fine apart from now that they've closed all of my local Post Offices!
So now I'm looking for is a building society account where I can pay in small amounts easily here and there, probably £20 - £50 at at time, to save up for holidays etc. but I'd prefer to have to give a weeks notice when I want to withdraw or at least not have instant access as it's too tempting. I'd prefer an online account if possible. I have no idea what's out there, can anyone suggest anything.

To find out aboout short notice periods I'd have a look at some of the tables like the one on this site and those at Moneyfacts and Moneysupermarket etc.
There are a few around paying close to 6% but some of them give awful service. For myself I will never invest with Halifax and I think Alliance and Leicester let people down even though I have shares in that bank. I took out an ISA with them last year and cannot believe that the rate has actually gone down when most have been increased.
I am surprised that you think having just one week's notice will stop you being tempted to withdraw. I always have instant access and get cash when I buy my groceries i.e. with the debit card - not available on some saving accounts.0
