  • Haha, Foxgloves, you are funny! :rotfl: But I know what you mean, I hate taking medication with a passion!! Any way to avoid it is a winner in my book!!

Just been on a little trip around the docks not far up the coast from where we live... Managed to flutter eyelashes and acquire a pallet and two fab wooden cable reels from a local company, which will make a lush little coffee table and BBQ stand for the allotment!!

Happy Girl!! :j hahaha... Getting stuff for free is addictive! :money:

I'm going to break the pallet up into three sections to make a small border which I'll fill with my Gran's primroses and snowdrops
(Dad dug these up from Gran's house as happy memories of his childhood when his parents passed away... My brother has some in his garden in London, Mum and Dad have some at home and now I'll have some in sunny Portishead to spread Gran's love and happiness everywhere we go :))

That's hopefully tomorrow's job before work. Also, because I've been pottering all day, I've used no electric at home, no lounging in front of the TV, and haven't eaten yet - so saved there too! :D
:T DEBT FREE AS OF APRIL 2013! :T

Feeling good today, very positive considering it's Monday :T

Not doing anything tonight so will probably watch a DVD from the shelf

    Debt-free and Proud!
Well I have had to return to work after a lovely week off but I've still managed to do a few things:

Signed up to the free post code lottery
    Brought lunch to work
Made some pennies on an EBay sale

    Tonight I will be:

    Listing some extra EBay auctions
Checking both bank accounts to ensure funds are where I expect them to be
Making dinner with whatever is in the house....and I'm not sure there's much!
Tweaking my budget after a higher than expected water bill arrived
Filling in a new survey I just received a notification for

Looks set to be a low cost day for me! Best of luck to everyone else on this same path. X

Good evening, Since it is the start of the week and the month I thought I would get back to mse ways. I have had a busy day as I started my new college course. Due to the expenses of being a student and having a 3 week old baby I really need to start getting into some positive habits.

    Today I have:

    Attended lectures at college
Checked oil & water in the car
Checked tyre pressure on the car
    Paid check into the bank
Took and collected kids from school and the childminder
    Dusted the house
Emptied and cleaned the kitchen bin
    Sweeped the kitchen floor
    Paid some money off debt
Fed the animals and collected eggs
Cleaned the dining table and chairs
Checked free postcode lottery & birthday bingo
    Sorted through emails

I think that is everything that I managed to get done today. Now I am off to get some rest. Hope everyone has had a good Monday x
