Milk is not a dairy product in Tesco clubcard coupons?

The OH wanted to use a "get 25 extra points when you spend £1 or more on Dairy Products" today. He handed over some milk and was told that didn't qualify. Well if milk isn't dairy, then what is??? Anyone else had this and what actually qualifies for this coupon then?
Reclaimed thanks to this site:
£175 Abbey Mortgage Repayment Fee, £170.03 Capital One Bank Charges £418.07 Lloyds TSB Bank Charges, £2,671.55 Mis-sold Endowment Policy, all for OH

Was it a baby milk of any sort?
Tesco aren't allowed to give CC points on baby milk I believe...They say you can't put a value on life... but I live it at half price!0 -

If it was ordinary milk should have done. If thse type of points tokens don't work take them to customer services with your receipt they can add them manually as money off ones too. Mostly they just put them through and they work, getting more of a prob these days.0 -
I had the same problem when I got a voucher for 25 points when spending £1 on vegetables.I bought tomatoes and was told they didnt qualify.0

No points on baby formula up to 6 months, but fine for follow-on milk, even give extra points vouchers for these from baby club.0 -
It definitely wasn't baby milk! We shall go to customer services next time if they are getting funny again, thanks for that.Reclaimed thanks to this site:

sometimes they just don't go through the till, even though you have bought the product. When that happens to me, I just go to customer services and they add the points on for me.0
