I have used ppd for the first time today, booked it at just before 10 am, dhl arrived to collect at 12.00, highly impressed. For northern Ireland though it's no cheaper than interparcel, who also use dhl, amongst others.
I will definitely use them again.

  • My only advice is, don't use Royal Mail Standard Parcels if you want your parcel to get to its destination the same decade. They are unbelievably slow.

Standard parcels are sorted alongside second class items so should arrive in 2 days.

I've never had a problem with standard parcels, even the one I sent to Orkney only took a couple of days, although the buyer was surprised - he said the post pigeon must have been on steroids!:rotfl: (never received feedback for that sale though:rolleyes: ).
Before I ordered from ppd, I emailed and asked about missed delivery, they got back and said that a card was always left to arrange either personal collection or one further delivery.
