Hoping someone out there can help. Just set up our new Sony Flat Screen HD LCD TV.
It has a built in digital tuner and we are connecting sky through a scart lead - when we switch to av1 to watch sky there is ghosting of the digital channel.
Could it be because our scart lead is 20 pin not 21 pin or would this not make a difference??
Thanks in advance!

I think you will find that all fully wired scart leads have 20 actual pins, the 21st is the metal casing.
I bet you didn't have this problem with your old TV..
Assuming that picture is OK via the in built Digital Tuner, try changing the scart lead and see if it helps the situation, use a good quality one, but it doesn't need to be gold plated.0 -
My sony did this aswell so i just changed the scart lead to a good one and it solved the problem.Don't listen to the bad things about Vista its the best
Just because it's free don't mean it's good

Just Because you read it some where don't mean it's right

Typical bad scart lead problems
get yourself the best scart lead you can justify spending on (don't got to Curries etc... as they will rip you off).
I got myself an IXOS fully sheilded RGB scart lead and it got rid of all my ghosting and really improved my picture as well0 -
btw my prob was on a panasonic tv so not just sony's which have this0

And not just new LCD/plasmas, my old CRT 21" Goodmans was having ghosting problems through the freeview box, but change the scart lead for a better quality one and problem solved."She is quite the oddball. Did you notice how she didn't even get excited when she saw this original ZX-81?"
