Dampness in ensure

Hi there,
We have dampness round the window in our ensuite and above the window on the wall.
The window is always open whenever anyone is in the shower, and we usually have the extractor fan on too.
Our house is only about 9 years and I'm surprised this dampness is there.
Is there anything we can do to get rid of this?
Thanks
Jackie

Do you squeegy the walls after you use the shower? If you get rid of the excess moisture it's less to evaporate and cause more damp.
Our extractor runs on for a while too - helps get rid of damp air too.0
