okay to try and write a life story here is impossible but in short my husband was declared bankrupt over 3 years ago he was dicharged over 2 years ago, i have not been declared bankrupt and manage my debts okay, he was declared bankrupt through company going under and is now in stable employment we have not applied as yet but thanks to my parents has a healthy deposit around 25%, is this impossible? he has had no credit since being bankrupt and we are wary of trying as know this can affect you further?

Are you applying for a mortgage? its not clear from your post0

Speak to a whole of market broker and explain your situation. They will be able to tell you if you have a chance at getting a mortgage although 25% should be a good start. Expect to pay higher fees as the High Street will say no."Dream World" by The B Sharps....describes a lot of the posts in the Loans and Mortgage sections !!!0
