Well done on the charges dezzi - I contacted HSBC twice over unfair bank charges and they paid out, then I tried on a closed bank account with RBS and I had to file court papers - they did pay out just before the court date and on both HSBC and RBS they offered half and I stood my ground and got nearly the whole amount back so in total it came to £1100 which was fab.

As for the question re tesco vouchers - well I had my usual Tesco clubcard statement and the vouchers came to £13.75 which could be spent in store against my shopping BUT when converted on-line @ tesco.com they are worth 4 times as much. Clubcard vouchers can be exchanged for blockbuster rentals, meals out, driving lessons, holidays ...... amusement parks all sorts really. It is definitely worth checking it out if you shop at tescos. For example at £50 grocery shop on tesco.com using a 1,000 point code is £10 back in tesco clubcard vouchers or £40 when coverted into deals which could be tickets to say alton towers in the summer etc or buy you a magazine sub as a present for someone. Here is the link: http://www.tesco.com/clubcard/deals/

Today, was the school fete so I only took a few quid with me as I used to come home with alot of clutter that would probably be returned to the school for the xmas fete. Then we had DD1's dance show and I took drinks and sweets with me so did not have to pay the high prices.

re: ebay postage was around £2 over what I paid but as she has left me + feedback for the moment I have left it.

Finally, I am a tesco-holic and using points vouchers and money off vouchers I purchased some impulse, well actually 50 cans of them, which didn't cost me a penny. anyway, they were all recalled and I have been told to chuck them away due to a safety issue. On my return home this evening was £100 worth of money off vouchers off any unilever products (50 x £2 vouchers) so now instead of getting toiletries I will be stocking up on some persil washing powder instead which should save me some money off the shopping budget.

I need to list some items on ebay now and get clicking.

Fingers crossed for your OH tomorrow kbarty

    Welshy, youll know this,

Ive got quite a lot of vouchers here, but tbh my tesco is getting bloody funny about accepting them. And I dont have the thick skin to persevere too hard :o

Ive got about 10 smoking kits packs, loads of 50ps off, 5.00 off nictinell and loads of other 20p off etcs.

I was tihnking about flogging them as a bundle on ebay- do you reckon theres any point?

    HHOORRAAHH!!!!

It has taken me a week but at last I have finished reading this thread from start to finish, it has been fab. I have already made £30 quidco, stopped lots of unnecessary spending and have done 2 mystery shops and have 2 lined up all at £10 each. So thankyou everyone.

We became debt free last Jan and since then i haven't really been on the DFW board and have been on the MFW board more instead but I have decided that even though I am no longer a DFW I am coming back to this board. There is no other board on this site ( or anywhere I know of ) that people are so determined ( and times desperate ) to make money. I know we were when we had debt so I have come back to nick all your new ideas.

SOOOO Well done everyone with your progress so far and I'll be nicking all your fab ideas to pay off our huge mortgage and pay to do our garden and get our new furniture.

Ps Lynz I started 2 yrs ago suffering from awful migraines which got worse and worse until I had them continually, I was given all sorts of pills but the only ones that worked made me really depressed or completely whacked so i couldn't stay awake no matter what I did. Anyway to cut a long story short my Dr spoke to a nuerologist and he has put me on amitryptaline ( or something like this ) I started on 10mg then went up to 100mg slowly and I'm now down to 50mg and no sign of my migraines at all. I don't know how the tablets work because they are actually meant to be used for depression ( which fortunatley I don't suffer with ) but they work, so it might be worth speaking to your dr.

Hi, not sure if you know but on mirror bingo you get £10 free to play with without depositing any money when you register. I just did this and have managed to withdraw £53.09 without putting any money of my own in. You cannot withdraw unless you with have £30 though.

LoLo - !!!!!!!' awesome, I just played that, won £24 on my first game, and then £20 something on my second, so within 5 mins of playing I was able to deposit £42 in my account. Fantastic turn around. I only came in to check the threads before bed!

I'm failing this challenge. I dont think I can face the phone work and finding 'actual' work still seems to be a no go.

I'm feeling a bit deflated atm, but at least I have a day of relaxing when visiting my bf tomorow.
Debt free since 2014 - now saving for a mortgage deposit :heart2:
This time I'm on top of it! We live and learn :coffee:
