Sorry all, I've been totally AWOL today, I've spent the entire day inputting figures into my MB spreadsheet and eager to make my first bet! I've opened the 2 bookie/exchange accounts and deposited the money, just waiting on the best bet to go for. I am telling you, they are so helpful over there on the gambling board.

Dr, if you're reading this, have a look on the gambling board at the newbie question thread stuck to the top. Go to the last couple of pages where I've been helped once again today, and very close to making my first bet that ended up going pear shaped before I placed it luckily! Play around with the spreadsheet in the introductory post and input figures here and there. Hopefully if you see where I was going wrong with my figures you'll learn quicker!!

Oh, and on the £1k challenge front......I was just asked to do a £198 order from viking - 7%!!! I did an order for £87.89 the other day and have £6.15 validating so looks good for this one!!!

    Speak to you all tomorrow.

Hi Jo - at the risk of sounding like I've been stalking you :o I've been reading your posts over on the gambling board today. There's a lot to take in and I think I'm gonna follow your lead and have a couple of dummy runs before risking my hard-earned.

I've been having a play with Alias's Automatcher spreadsheet (clicky), have you seen it? It's a really neat piece of kit and seems to do everything I'd want it to. It's nice and easy to follow when your calculating lay stakes/risks etc - very newbie friendly!

I'm really counting the days til payday now so I can have a go myself!!! :D

I had a bit of good news today, I have a £900 overdraft with HSBC and my office is giving all staff a bonus of £1000 at the end of the month, so I have decided to pay off my HSBC overdraft and close the account down.

quidco is looking good and with several ebay watchers I hope I can now concentrate on clearing my staff loan with my office which is just over £400

Wow - been away for a week and everyone is doing so well. Sold a couple of things on ebay so will update total later.
Been doing regular clicks. Some new surveys on ipoints as well as:
300 points for David Lloyd leisure enquiry (used false phone no so will see if it works!)
100 points for entering lancome comp (just tick no for all junk offers!)
100 points for entering HMV comp (as above)
70 points for signing up to ripcurl newsletter

    This looks good:
