Yep, and this month it's to the tune of £87.98. So if I pay that on Wednesday when my giro is in, I'll have £30.40 to last me for bills/food/cat food+stuff untill Wed 11th July

I'm not doing too great on this challange, I've added up the tips I've kept from the last month or so and that is £44 and I've got £8 from selling a Body Shop voucher that I didn't want to a friend.
I've been doing my clicks when I remember but have been so busy I haven't had the time to really have a look at quidco and sign up to Lovefilm etc. Going to try and do that this weekend. Also need to find some more things to ebay. Where do people find the best internet competitions? Would be good to get some free things to ebay that way!Debts in April 07 = £12,547.61 Debts in Aug 08 = £0I'm debt free! Woohoo!DFW Member # 476 Proud To Be Dealing With My Debts!0 -

J, I've heard quite a few people on here that have rung up VM and said that they are gonna cancel their contract and go over to Sky cos VM have dropped channels, plus the on demand facilty has become carp. They have managed to haggle an excellent discount and stayed with VM. I really want to do it but really don't want to go to Sky so if they call my bluff I'm stuffed!! Maybe give that a go?DFW Nerd no. 496 - Proud to be dealing with my debts!!0 -

The thing is, I cancelled my tv package and gave away my tv months back, so I only use home land line and broadband. But since the switch to VM I've found the customer service to be terrible. I remember when still named NTL, I called up one month asking them to cut me off because I was out of work with no job on the horizon. They gave me half price home phone line, Broadband for £5pm and TV for Free, and all for three months untill I could get back to work.
when I called recently to ask how I could save money on my bill I was told alot of old cods-wollop (Ex bt staff here, I know how the competitor worked). Anyway, im looking to leave them and if i cant then I just want to make sure that Im giving them as little of my hard saved cash as possible!
