Quotes... Is it too much?

Hi guys
Just wondering if anyone could help me, I've got a quote for a rear extension/ conservatory.
It's classed more of an extension, it 2.5 metres by 4 metres with two solid walls coming away from my house and 4 metres of bi-fold doors with 2 velux windows in the roof.
This is coming off my current kitchen and will create a dining room, so will be insulated to keep enough heat in that its more a kitchen/ diner so my existing back door and kitchen window can be removed.
The quote also includes a small porch (currently you walk into my lounge from the front door and I really don't like it) so the porch is big enough to step in, have a cupboard for shoes and coats and through to the lounge.
I live in a 2 bed house so the quote also includes new windows and front door.
So quote...
Build rear
Build porch
1 front door
3 medium windows (lounge, bedroom 1 and bedroom 2)
1 small bathroom window
1 set of bi-fold doors (4 metres)
Plaster new rooms
New plug sockets
Install lights (I'm to supply)
I live in Essex and the quote is 30k
Is it worth it or way too much?
I'm asking as I'm really into home programmes, and after watching last weeks Sarah beeny programme where that huge home must have had about 16 windows, doors and bi-folds all with special noise preventing glass as they lived on a main road for 17k
I hope someone maybe able to help or have had similar work and if so how much did you pay if you don't mind me asking?

I would be impossible to say whether its a good price or not. There are too many variables and we are not privy to the specification. You would be best placed to get another 2 or 3 quotes to get a comparable price.Eat vegetables and fear no creditors, rather than eat duck and hide.0

Aww thank you that would have been great but I guess it'll be easier for more local tradesmen.

Such a big decision when thinking of these things0 -
hi, just wondered if you have had any luck, as i am also looking for same type of work being done on my property.
any recommendations / advice appreciated

A word of caution - don't use those programs as a guide to what happens in reality! The money they claim things cost are far below of what you would expect to find in real life.dreams+wishes+hope wrote: »I'm asking as I'm really into home programmes, and after watching last weeks Sarah beeny programme where that huge home must have had about 16 windows, doors and bi-folds all with special noise preventing glass as they lived on a main road for 17k0
