Ideas for Loch Lomond/surrounding areas..?

Hi all,

Looking for some ideas/inspiration!

My OH and I are looking to go to Cameron House for a couple of nights in October.

For the night/two before, we want to go 'further up'? past Cameron House and maybe stay in a wee BandB/hotel and do some walking/sightseeing.

Any one have any recommendations of anything that is interesting/must see or where to stay?

Thanks

Oban isn't that far, its a great trip through Glencoe, plenty of B&Bs to choose from. Enjoy Cameron House.

If the seaplane is operating it's worth having a trip to see Scotland from 500-1000 ft up.

Have a meal in Duck Bay ( Next to Cameron House) whilst you are there. I love the place, especially at weekends, when you see the locals getting their boats across the Loch to have a drink.

    Inverary is nice, Stirling too.

Oban is a good suggestion above.
