I've heard this but don't know of any evidence. It could be something that's been noticed by people or it could be a myth.0 -
I use a hesien bag which I bought off ebay for storing potatoes. They are in our entry. For anyone who dosen't know a entry is a passage which runs between two terraced houses.
This seems to work very well, I think its the darkness rather than cool that helps.
We keep our onions in there as well, just layed out in trays.
Also carrots covered with sand are in there as well.
We do have an allotment, thats why we have all of this produce.0
