One Call insurance

If any of you are looking for cheap car insurance and get tempted by One Call - THINK CAREFULLY ......

They are cheap for a reason

To start with - if they don't receive "proof of NCD" within 7 days of your new policy starting - they "fine" you an additional £74 in addition to any supposed extra charges due to not having sent proof of having the NCD

I had 8 years NCD and due to reasons beyond my control (timing !!) - last year had to fight to get this money reimbursed ...

My 12 months with One call have just expired (I have gone with "quotemehappy" ) and to ensure no further funds were taken from my account - I emailed One call and received confirmation, 6 weeks ago - that NO AUTO RENEWAL would take place - yet, 2 days ago - I received an email from One Call - thanking me for renewing my policy !!!
