hi could someone help me, is there any way I can get help towards the cost for a phone?
apparently I can't get one throgh the occupatinol services, and need one suitable for profoundly deaf, but prices are rediculous!
am feeling really isolated, plus if anything goes wrong health wise then am stuffed as I live alone x

i came into the world with nothing,and guess what? i still have it!!!:p

Contact your local social work team for deaf people, they should be able to point you in the direction of the local technical equipment service which will loan you a textphone FOC. You will have to pay for the line rental..................

social work told me they no longer do phones hence why I wondered if there was any other way? xi came into the world with nothing,and guess what? i still have it!!!:p0
