Pay a visa credit card off with another visa credit card

I did this a few months back once for a small bill on my first visa credit card where I had paid the balance of one of my visa credit cards with another visa credit card. Is this still possible? I know it's not possible paying a visa credit card with a mastercard credit card or vice versa as for some reason it won't let me do that.

I've not heard of paying a CC by another CC except by doing a balance transfer0

It's been known to happen before - I suspect it's down to an error rather than design. The card your using to pay is probably being incorrectly recognised as a debit card by the checking algorithm (or there is no check, but the card that doesn't work does it's own checks and is declining the transaction).0

Creation credit cards allow payment by credit card but they only do MasterCard afaik.0
