redesigning kitchen - tiling, plastering and cabinet question

Hi,
In the process of considering how to redesign kitchen when I eventually move into property.

My plan is to reinstated blocked door, replace kitchen cabinets, rewire, remove old tiles and have walls replastered and paint rather than tile most the room. However I plan to have a few areas retiled.

I have two related questions.
Between replastering and fitting kitchen units, how long should you wait?

Depends on the extent of plastering. If its been bonded, it will take a while to dry. If just a skim, normally 3 to 4 days is enough. As long as the plaster has gone light pink, it's ok to tile and fit cabinets.
Eat vegetables and fear no creditors, rather than eat duck and hide.
