dates for student finance to be paid

My student finance has all been approved and it says the expected payment date for my first instalments is 9th September .

I just wondered will my payments defiantly go in on this date can it go in any earlier/later ? It mentions something about payments will be payed once uni has confirmed attentence does that mean confirm that ive enrolled ( I enrolled about 3 weeks ago )

It will go in on the 9th September as long as your university has authorised it. You need to "check in" to the university, basically confirm attendance. At my university during freshers week, the first Monday was for 1st year students, Tuesday 2nd year, Wednesday 3rd year. They can your student finance letter with the barcode on it.

However, like you, we could also enrol online, and this worked for me and got payment on the date.

Provided that you have registered, your money should be in your account roughly 5 days later, this takes into account the university notifying student finance.
So your money should be there by 9th if you register early. If you cannot register until your arrival then you should allow the additional 5 days to be safe.

Thankyou for your replys but im still a little confused it doesn't take much

Right so ive enrolled at Uni 2 weeks ago I had to take my student finance letters to enrol and uni scanned them , then last week I got a letter from the uni saying I am now confirmed as a full time student .

But I only actually start my course in another week so mid September so what im confused about is will my loans go into my account on 9th September or will they only go in after the colleged has confirmed to student finance that I actually showed up for my induction (fresher week) in mid September ?

If you've enrolled and your uni has scanned the form, you should get it on the date (perhaps 3 days after if its your first one).
