Iceland. Due to their economic crisis this can now be affordable. We did see the no but did pick the dates to avoid a full moon. Highlights of the trip included a public swimming pool which I am sure teenagers would love.0

Agree that Iceland is probably the easiest place to see the NL - we went in February this year but sadly didnt get to see them due to low activity over Iceland whilst we were there.
You can see them in Northern Scotland and Canada too...£2 Savers Club #156!
Looking for holiday ideas for 2016. Currently, Isle of Skye in March, Riga in May, Crete in June and Lake District in October. August cruise cancelled, but Baby due September 2016! :j0 -

Try those to start with. The first one seems far more affordable than the second.0 -
ive just booked my deal with Fleetway travel (saw the deal in travelzoo). I booked for 4 nights, beginning of December, includes transfers, hotel (and breakfast), plus whale watching tour and also northern lights tour. It was a good deal, around £350. i checked the flights for the time I wanted to go and they came in at £185, so that works out at around £175 for the 4 nights hotel and two tours which is really good! So if I booked my own seperate flights, hotel, transfers, tours etc, I think it would be more expensive. So the package deal is cheaper and less hassle.
A little more expensive than the usual city break, but Iceland looks so worth it.Lovin Boots and other bargainous places!0
