I have a question please, I have been with SB since the summer but have only ever ordered paypal, which I have verified by the security question.

I am wanting to save for either the £25 or £50 Amazon depending on how well I do, this will be the first time. So in case I need to verify by the pin code by snail mail, do you think it would make sense to order a £5 Amazon just in case I need to verify a pin? I don't want to lose out on the sale.

If I remember right when I ordered my first gift card and had to verify by post they didnt actually process the order. I had to reorder what I wanted when I had verified my account with the pin. So if you have requested your pin via post you should be able to verify without ordering and save your bucks for the £100 one that you want.

oh thanks a good question, I didn't think of that, same applies to me. My account is verified but I have only ever ordered paypal. I wont be pleased if I lose out on the amazon offer, I have been trying really hard to get as many points for it as possible.

Hopefully someone will know more details. That's why I was thinking in getting the 1st £5 I don't bother with Amazon as I can get the vouchers off my other survey sites. But as a good deal I changed my mind.

I've just asked this question of Nick on Facebook with regard to the account verifications:-

"Nick - I don't know if you can do anything about this or not. Last time we had a sale, some people lost out because they tried to order a gift card but had to verify their accounts. As you know, we can't verify by text message in the UK so have to wait for for the code to be sent by post, by which time it's too late to get the gift voucher at the sale price. Can something be done about this - ie. would it not be possible to either defer account verifications until after the sale, or can the gift card order be 'held' at the sale price? ie. order the gift card but not post the code to the account until after the pin code has been accepted. It does seem very unfair that people could possibly miss out on the excellent sale through no fault of their own."

I will update with any response I receive

Sorry to say this, but don't hold your breath. I tried to argue it out with them a couple of days ago- they won't have any of it once you've had your 'one time courtesy credit'. Proof or no proof. Blighters.

Not been able to get on this all day. I work nights and got home around 9 this morning. Slept until just after 4 which is a lot later than i normally do and then had to get stuff done. Still back in work now and my goals aren't too bad, 70 and 80 so should easily hit those tonight with videos etc and hopefully a few surveys at lunch
