Gas/elec back
British Gas threatened to break in to my property to cut off the supply if I did not pay them. I was not living in the property so I paid them as I obviously didn't want them to do that, but simply couldn't get hold of them. I owed them no money and actually sold the house, but still they sent more bills demanding more money. I kept trying to call, I sent letters and e-mails, they occassionally replied to the latter and gave lots of excuses as to why it had happened they juggled figures, lied and continued to ignore my communications until I got hold of what amounts to the ombudsman for those utilities. Eventually I got the money back, amounting to £61 plus. It took a year and no way would I ever go with that company again. They are rude, undisciplined and are determined to keep your money at any cost.:cool:
