A lot of the return to work credits have/are being stopped.
Job grant has gone. & I think with the in work credit/return to work credit... No new applications from end of September.
If he's unsure, contact local Jobcentre or search the eligibility rules on gov.uk.

To get return to work credit of £40/week - you need to have started claiming whichever benefit (JSA/ESA) prior to 2nd July this year and have been on this at least 13 weeks. You need to claim it before 1st Oct 2013 and you have up to 5 weeks after starting work to tell DWP you need to claim it. The wage must be NMW rate and no more than £288.46 gross a week. £1250 gross month). After this it will cease to be available.0

Not JSA, only benefits due to sickness are included. The most potent weapon of the oppressor is the mind of the oppressed. Steve Biko0
