Eek I really want the Bobbi Brown rich chocolate eye palette - have had my eye on it for a while and have just found somewhere that has it in stock:eek: to buy or not to buy - its about £40 which is pretty extortionate but it's so pretty :rotfl: I really like the navy and nude palette too but that is about £48
  • I have a number of splutterers but no UUs as yet. Thinking about treating myself to a hot bath in a bit; I'm absolutely shattered and clinging on by my finger nails for my holiday next week.

I was also thinking about getting acrylic nails as I'm a chronic nail biter... until I saw how much it would cost at the local 'good' nail place. And I cannot bring myself to go to one of those places where they use the machines to file your nails down  Guess it's back to nail envy for me then!

Have decided to TA a Avon Glimmersticks Eyeliner. I've had it a little over 2 years now, and it's starting to make my eyes itch a little bit when I wear it. WBA I like this stuff, it lasts well and has real staying power, but I do have 3 more eyeliners to be getting on with.

    Evening

    UU's
Karma bubble bar WBA I do like the scent and 1 last me about 5 baths

BS coconuts body milk WMBA I have another of the same and one in a different scent so would when I run out but it has been discontinued.

Asda face wipes WBA cheap and does the job

Clarins double serum sachet WNBA not enough to really decide if I like it or not.

Me again! I have another UU from this eve:

127: La Roche Posay Effaclar Duo 40ml - WBA, think this might be a HG for me. Really wasn't that sure about it when I first bought it but have grown to love it. I find it lasts well too. Looking online now to see if I can get it cheaper anywhere.
  • On a roll with the UUs this month:

    1. Rosewater
    2. Nivea Daily Essentials Gentle Facial Cleansing Wipes: WIBA? Yes, removes make up without drying my skin.
    3. Superdrug Baby Oil: WIBA?If its on offer, much cheaper than commercial brand and has a light pleasant fragrance.
    4. Boots Ultra sanitary towels: WIBA? No, far too small and light. Didn't feel adequately protected without going into too much details.

Got a few splutterers nearly finishing so will add to the UU list.
  • Two UUs for this evening:

    L'Occitance hand cream - honey 30ml
L'occitane firming and smoothing milk concentrate 50ml

Loved the hand cream: have lots more l'occ hand cream to use up and have popped a tiny mini in my handbag to keep on a roll.
I loved the smell of the firming milk concentrate, and the feel on my skin, but it had a bad habit of bobbling on the skin. I don't know why creams and lotions do this but it's a pet peeve.

Not been on recently, life has got in the way and bit and still upset as losing my lovely cat yesterday, we'd had her 20years and had had a great life and never loked or acted her age. It's been a bit of a shock for us all as her litter sister is much frailer and looks her age.

Ah I'm so sorry to hear this, massive hugs :(
Went to a car boot yesterday in the hopes of clearing out some stuff, only sold a few things and made £10. For five hours standing in the cold, I can't say it was particularly worth it! I don't want to get on ebay, so can anyone recommend a less rainy way to sell paperback books?

How about local selling pages on Facebook, these seem to be very popular now and there's no fees involved like Ebay, assuming you're happy for someone to come and collect etc

Have you had any BB before? I bought a palette last Christmas and the pigmentation is poor.

I only ever had acrylics once and never again, they make a complete mess of your natural nail.
