Acer repair nightmare

My son's desktop was sent back to Acer for repair over a month ago, we have repeatedly checked the case status and phoned them but it is still under repair.
I am aware NOW from reading other peoples problems that this is a common problem with Acer, but does anyone have any suggestion as to how to complain/expedite this matter, ideally by speaking to someone in the UK...thanks :-)
BTW I would never send a computer away, I would always use a known visiting repair person, BUT this is my son's and he wanted it to go back under warranty. It's a very high spec gaming m/c

If he purchased direct from Acer then at the time of purchase their would been the option to add a warranty repair option of on site or return to base with onsite being they would send engineer to you, this would of been a more expensive option.
but if you are having no luck with acer then you could expediate by emailing neil_marshall@acer-euro.com0 -
