next school uniform help please

Hi need to get sons uniform sorted as the trousers I ordered from the school shop have arrived and don't fit him. Does anyone know if the grey trousers from next are dark grey (charcoal) or light grey?

We need Charcoal, Bhs generous fit fall off him, m and s dont do plus in charcoal and the grey is too light ! So have ordered grey from next but they wont arrive until monday and I need to know whether to keep searching or if I am going to have to pay 27 pound for the actual school ones which I dont want to do !
Thanks

I think they're a mid grey, John Lewis do charcoal though, if that helps.

Tesco 's school trousers were charcoal. Too dark for my son's school as I need a lighter grey.

I have got my son's charcoal trousers from asda, I think they are generally a generous sizing too? :)
  • I can confirm the jean style trousers are charcoal as I buy these every year for my boy!
  • Thanks guys, I have been in all 4 asdas near me and they are out and sold out of right size on line. Tesco same again. I have ordered the jean style ones and flat front ones from next to hopefully give us a choice, not sure we will be able to get away with jean style though they are really strict with uniform. aghh why is he so tall and broad, he is going to cost me a fortune as he gets older!

What about trying in the mens section of shops instead of the school uniform dept?
