Changes of being turned away?

So I just bought a hotel for a Saturday night in October. Ok hotel, ok reviews etc..... price on other sites were £60 to £89... However, Venere website had one room at £4.95 ... yup you read right. It does state it is for the 'annexe' next to hotel so perhaps rooms aren't quite hotel standard however they are private and have own ensuite etc..
I have booked it and it does state on the booking 'this is the price for the entire of your stay' however..... we have to pay at the hotel. Venere merely took our card details.
What I don't want is to turn up and they either say you have to cough up (for whatever the price will be) or turn us away. If they turn us away, because the city is busy on that night due to a big run, we'll end up with nowhere to stay or have to pay hugely over the odds...
Anyone experienced anything like this before? I was thinking of phoning the hotel however they might cancel it citing website error/glitch (not their website) which, if we just turned up on the day it might have more chance of having them agree or negotiating.
The venere confirmation email states that a copy of the booking has been sent to the hotel so they will see the price stated.

you could phone or email the hotel to confirm the booking has been made and check everything is ok , Ask them for confirmation too as "you have stayed elewhere in the past and things went wrong blah blah" good deals never happen to me like that so good luck . let us know how it goes
