Tesco Clubcard and RAC

I'm looking to 'buy' RAC cover using my tesco clubcard vouchers and I've found there are some offers to new members. Currently the RAC membership is in my name which I bought using my clubcard last year, it's a joint membership and DH has a card too. Now it says this offer is only open to new members so would DH count as a member too or is it just me who is excluded as the main member, I've looked in the T&Cs but couldn't find anything, I looking to buy this offer in DH's name, anybody got a clue how this works? Thanks

Not so difficult Ziggy.

My wife and I have a joint shared ClubCard account.

I buy the RAC cover as a 'new' member one year and she buys it every other year. - so we are always getting the best price.

don't need to, as you can fill the form and get the same value as new customer, on my card it stated I member since 2011 (when I have started)
