Anyone come across any offers on this product, I have been Tesco and Sainsburys but none there?

You don't say which variety of Oats So Simple you want ie ASDA has offers on the pots at the moment. The original porridge is 1p cheaper in ASDA, not sold in Sainsbury's and the same price at Tesco, Ocado and Waitrose.0

I'm also looking for any offers, I buy the original sachets, usually the 18's in Asda for 2.98?

Why not just use the big packets of porridge oats? I used to buy the "Oat So Simple" until I realised just how much cheaper the big packets were - all you need is a set of scales to weigh it out. You can still cook it in the microwave and add whatever you want to it. A big packet (Quakers @ £1.99, own brands are cheaper of course) lasts me over a month whereas a box of "Oat So Simple" (@ £2.99 or 2 for £$) lasted just a few days.0

1KG of rolled oats is around 75p in Ald1 and is exactly the same as oats so simple plain variety. 34 servings.0

If you want Porridge Oats to look like Oats so simple, put the uncooked oats in a blender before you cook them. (They cook quicker that way as well)I used to be indecisive but now I am not sure.0

If you blend them how much milk to add and do you cook for 2mins in microwave like oats so simple? I buy them for the convenience and easier washing up but would love to switch if I knew how to cook normal oats the same way. Recipe please?0

Much cheaper to buy the big bags of oats and cook what you need, minutes in the microwave (follow pack instructions) or on top of the cooker (add water or milk, bring to the boil & simmer for a few minutes).
(Or for a quick cold breakfast soak oats overnight - 30g oats, 50ml milk, 125g natural yogurt, mix up leave overnight in the fridge and then eat as is or serve over sliced banana, berries or soft fruit (you can also sprinkle over dried fruit or nuts). You can also drizzle over honey, maple syrup etc. (You can slice the banana and pour the oat mix over the top and leave all in the fridge for the next day as well, or add the dried fruit mixed in - this swells and the fruit becomes plump and juicy).Everything has its beauty but not everyone sees it.0 -

I don't blend them... 30g oats and 180 mils of semi skimmed, 2 mins in microwave and leave to stand for a minute or 2. Delicious.0 -
Can't have the Aldi ones unfortunately as they may contain milk!. did buy the SP asda ones and tbh always ended up getting the quantities wrong etc and wasn't keen on the taste. Thought I'd stick to what I know and prefer
. Waiting for the half price offers now

You are paying through the nose for all the little packets that you are opening and then throwing in the bin.
The upside is that you are keeping all those people who make the little paper bags in a job.
It amazes me that we waste so much money on chucking things away, it is supposed to be a MONEY SAVING SITE.make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.0
