A £500 foreign spend will save around £15 compared with using another card or buying here first from a bureau de change. And no cash advance fee should an emergency ever arise.

Thanks all. Halifax clarity I am keeping for travel, I'm actually annoyed they lowered my limit for not-enough usage. Barclaycard has the lowest APR at 7.9% so keeping that as well and will prob use as main. Mbna - I asked them to lower limit to 4k and will keep as it's oldest (the rep said not to lower as I'm 'worth' more lol) . Tesco I will close when the 0% expires as I don't see any use for it.0

I don't follow your logic here.Halifax clarity I am keeping for travel, I'm actually annoyed they lowered my limit for not-enough usage. Barclaycard has the lowest APR at 7.9% so keeping that as well and will prob use as main.
Surely using Halifax Clarity more would increase the chances of a limit increase down the line?
Unless the Barclaycard is an old Egg Money card paying 1% cashback?0 -
Should the impact on the average age of credit accounts also be considered here?0

@YorkshireBoy: I'm essentially using the card with the lowest APR just in case things go wrong and I can't pay the balance in full. Right now it's Tesco at 0% purchases

For the Halifax Clarity one I'm fine with the £500 limit I guess, although I was annoyed that they lowered it for non-usage, it was over £3000.
I guess next step is to find a cashback card, but only after I switch my mortgage deal.0
