Hi Guys, Do web browsers need updating, or do they automatically do it.? If so, how?
I,ve never done it, but, read somewhere, it should be done

Yes, web browser's do need updating - as do all web facing programs/applications.
Some may automatically check for updates, some may require manual updating - it depends on your particular browser.0 -

Tried IE, says there,s a update available, but, to get it, need active x, by right clicking on bar and instal. Got IE 9.0.8112 Default. probably ok.?
BUT, it,s not there, bar below address bar??0 -
The update will possibly be IE 10.
You'll still receive security patches etc for IE9 through automatic updates.0 -
It's up to you. Give it a whirl - you can always roll back to IE9.0
