We've been told it could be anything up to 12 weeks but we'll see. Nothing I can do but forge on and be grateful for what we do have.

22p in roadkill found in Asda today - guess its the place to be for coins on a Saturday!

While in Asda today, we snagged every receipt that was laying on the floor too.......came home and put them into Asda's website.......one found receipt just netted us 52p - that's better than looking for coins!

Can i ask something? You guys that take clothes to cash 4 clothes - is there much that gets turned down by them? Also if it is turned down by them what do you do with it? If its thrown in the bin i may have an idea for monetising it - just want to check first what kind of turn down rate they have!

Hi fairyclicks, I've taken tons of stuff to cash 4 clothes and have never had anything turned down. In my branch they don't even open the bags, they just ask if I've been there before and then weigh it. Don't know if it's the same elsewhere. x

Well, I don't think I'll make my target, having had not a sniff on any of my books up for sale - but I have found out that I've got £23 credit coming from my old electricity provider, and probably more for my gas - that'll have to feed into the October challenge I think. Have got at least £11 coming from EBay sales that finish tomorrow, but not counting that until bidding closes tomorrow and I know final amounts. Even though I'm not doing as well as I had hoped, I am managing to do more than I was doing before joining the challenge - hopefully it'll get better as time goes on!

Made super savings on shopping this week with multi-buys and vouchers of £ 13.07 but not counting them on here as using on GC and can't count same money twice unfortunately haha:rotfl:
