There is a site that takes books the same way Music Magpie takes CDs and games, does anyone remember what it is called? (Or did I imagine it)

Hello Nicki Wiggly Bum, I've not used it but have seen from the lovely people here there's a site called Webuybooks.co.uk xx

I put books together by author and shifted a lot at a car boot, still have loads left though.

Thanks for that website MrsC. I just went there and put in the ISBN numbers of 3 books that are recent and popular reads - each one they refused to buy saying it wasn't in high enough demand. I'm not bothering with the rest of them then! Books are so hard to offload. I will definitely think twice before bringing more books home. Think I'll download from now on. Guess I'm saving what I have for the car boot sale!

Hi Nicki_Sue, Yes,Webuybooks.co.uk do buy books in a similar way to the sites you mentioned. I have used them a few times recently and quick turnaround - longest wait has been 8 days from taking them to pickup point to money in bank. They don't seem to take popular fiction too often but still worth a try. I also found that some items won't be accepted but if I try again a week or 2 later they will be so their requirements change quite quickly. The other site that I have looked at but not used yet is zapper.co.uk. Hope this helps.

Does anyone know if there are any sites that wll buy videos. I know very outdated but thought I would see before sending them to landfill. :D I have quite a few children's and Disney ones that I really Don't want or need.

Emma, I think the person calling you must know you. That is the only way they knew your real name.

I believe there is a way to do the same job on your own without going through a particular site, so the fees are a lot less, and more profit for you.

No one knows I do this, just my BF and he was with me at the time - I'd put the caller on loudspeaker and my BF confirmed that he called me by my name. Even if my BF had set someone up, he doesn't know who I am on the site, etc. I genuinely do not understand it.

Oh CP, massive massive hugs. You look after yourself - October will be here soon enough and you can restart when you're well and truly better.
