Listed something on eBay with a BIN and its been snapped up darn should have added a fiver on it :rotfl: Oh well here's hoping the eBay karma will come my way when I have some auctions ending at the weekend
Anyway another £12 after fees etc and almost half way to my target:TCC debt Aug 2018 £50.2K
CC debt Nov 2018 £48.6K0 -
Ooooooooooooo, one of my eBay auctions just took a decent jump in bids.......should mean a decent increase in my total this weekend. Yay! I need to have something decent to prop up that total I have so far!
Congrats on the BIN scotdebs - you are doing great! Bet you hit that target well before the 30th!Credit Card Freedom gained 14 Feb 2014!!Total Debt Freedom gained 29 Apr 2014!!Savings goal 30/9/23: £72,000/£538,001.....yes I'm serious!Total Debt August 2013: [STRIKE]$21,587[/STRIKE] April 2014: $0!!!!:j0 -
I'm so chuffed this morning as I somehow managed to sell a trumpet last night!
I had paid £50 to have it brought up to scratch and have sold it for £100 to a family friend with 2 little boys who are very, very keen to play. Money raised will be added to my total here when I get it and will go towards a direct debit to help sponsor children in a very poor region of South Africa, which I'm part of a community charity in our village to help.
My daughter has paid me back £20 for something from months and months ago bless her, I'd forgotten about it. I filled in an expenses form at work earlier this week and may get that into my account today.
I have 20 items listed on eBay, quite an eclectic mix, I may be running out! However I have arranged with my mum to help her declutter and will put some things on for her, I'm going to work towards getting her £1,000 (I think it's doable with all the stuff!) and will add on 5% as commission for me for time wrapping/sending/answering questions etc.
I see this as I'm not going to take any money from my mum's stuff but will do my best to add on a percentage on top just to cover my time, I hope that's realistic and fair. Actually I may push it up to 7.5%
There's a load of CDs and DVDs I haven't managed to sell at 4 car boot sales so I will be trying to make myself spend the time listing them on Music Magpie this weekend, better than nothing I hope even if it is about 19p each, or I may see if any of the DVDs have a hope on eBay.
I also sorted six months free broadband this week and savings of £20 a month on landline.
Keeping going the best I can, wishing you a happy and productive Friday all xx0 -

Feeling sorry for myself this morning. I'm physically and mentally exhausted, and now feel like I'm coming down with something. As plan to spend as much of the day as I can in my dressing gown doing surveys so I at least feel like i'm trying to make money.
Congrats on the trumpet sale Mrs C!

aww CP I know how you feel. I am so exhausted, I cannot even clean up my mess in the living room that OH is threatening to throw in the bin. He wants me to clear it all out, including stuff I am selling. I am running out of space to hide it all.
So to show willing to him, I am going to freecycle some of it, stuff I don't mind not selling, as it would go for pennies if I was lucky. But I sat down at computer last night, opened this page, and woke up after Midnight, computer had gone to sleep and I had achieved nothing. No ebay listings, no updates on here...nothing.
Be kind to yourself, have some hot tea with sugar, or hot chocolate, and take care.
There is no point us battling to earn money and then leave ourselves sick from doing too many hours, burning the candle at both ends which is what I am doing nowadays.
I have taken on so much MS work, on top of my normal part time job, running around with DS and his friends... it takes it's toll on you eventually.
OH has offered to help me.... throw things out! I wish he would offer to wash the dishes instead.:mad:0 -
Aesop.... are we married to the same person?!?!
Today i plan on doing nothing till i have to go to work. I'm simply drained and i know i've done too much now. I have to slow down or else i'll end back in hospital with one of my many ailments, and i can't afford to go on the sick!
Now take your own advice Aesop

Emmaglet that goodie bag looks great, never heard of those taster evenings before so googled it and signed up to go in a couple of weeks. Nearest 2 stores not listed, but one about 30 mins away is on so will pop in with OH. Wonder if we get a goodie bag each?
