Hi all,
I can't believe it is September already, where has the year gone ? I've stupidly signed up to and committed to 25 NSD's in September....they are needed as I have been spending here and there every day (coffee at the station, vending machine food etc) BUT, this is how I got into debt in the first place so it has to stop !
Today I have/will:- Meals from stores
- Read papers online
- Slept a lot - may need to go to the docs as something isn't right :-(
- Need to have a shower and get ready for work tomorrow
- Checked banking and savings accounts etc
- NSD 1/25 :-)
- Watching bits on the sky box
- Emptied purse of change
- Counted my coke bottle
- Updated sig
Think that's my lot, take care all

Ally - your luxury coffee sounds pretty tasty - never thought of that.
:coffee: Seriously sickly coffee:
We either make up ground coffee in the cafetiere or use instant Irish Coffee granules. Then add sweeteners and condensed milk. Serve with ginger dunking biscuits. Calorific but comforting. :coffee:Debt-free day: 8th May 2015 "Remember that sometimes not getting what you want is a wonderful stroke of luck," Dalai Llama0 -
[STRIKE]Morning[/STRIKE] Afternoon,
I've got a cold/plague/swamp fever too. _pale_
Awoken by text from friend early this morning asking me to do a piece of artwork for her. Saw the £££ signs before my eyes! Then she said it was for charity. Oh well. It's something to do this afternoon. :rotfl:
Won't be doing much today. Might ask OH to make the French Onion soup if roast dinner doesn't cheer me up, thanks Foxgloves.
The List:
:staradmin Checked accounts. All fine.
:staradmin Entertainment: Disaster movie DVDs from cupboard.
:staradmin Take mainly home-made cold remedies. eg Ginger, clove, lemon and honey in hot water. Drink loads of water.
:staradmin Bedlinen washed and drying on horse.
:staradmin Tried Shreddies 60-day-long competition again. (Link)
:staradmin Checked Birthday Bingo (Link) and Free Postcode Lottery (Link). Both of these are totally free and, once you've registered, involve nothing more taxing than daily clicking on a link to see if you've won. You don't actually have to fill out daily lottery cards or actually play bingo.
:staradmin Aired house. We've saved so much money since we stopped buying air fresheners by the tonne and started opening windows!

Hi everyone,
Not my best of money saving days, but some good bits:
*Decided to get all our shopping done in 3 hours rather than 4, to save an hour's cost for the car park (saving £1)
*Got bargainmongous knickers & camisoles at M&S. The 3 pairs for £10 offer is pretty good, as does include nice knix & not all Bridget Jones massive pants. mr f also had a couple of new items but we paid entirely from our new Clothes Piggy Bank & a £10 M&S voucher, so no hit to the bank account.
*Managed to find jumper I liked in Debenhams which meant I could have it 'free' using my Debenhams gift cards earned on Toluna surveys. Must keep doing the surveys. Debenhams has lots of different designer collections & the giftcards are helping with the cost of replacing my wardrobe from a size 24 down to a size 16 because of all the weight loss.
*Bought a few v little inexpensive bits & bobs to put in the present cupboard (used the Present Piggy, so no hit to the account on those either......Could it be that this new Piggy system is working??)
*Checked ebay listings. Going quite well, with a few more sales, but unfortunately a problem I had with a transaction months ago has re-appeared to haunt me. This has seriously wound me up as I tried hard to resolve it at the time.
*Picked runner beans. (Still wound up!)
*mr f has lagged the water pipes at the back of the house & in the pantry, Materials cost under a tenner. That's got to be better than a plumber's bill in the winter......tho' have managed to thaw them out myself so far.......
*Dinner as per meal plans which will give me a rubber chicken to play with tomorrow.
*Tomorrow's packed lunch & breakfast made. (STILL wound up!)
Not so good:
*Coffee & a sticky bun AND lunch out today. Did use loyalty cards/get nectar points, but usually, I would have made a quick picnic to take with us. Never mind, we all deserve a treat sometimes & it was a very nice panini.
Think that's everything for today.
