La E - Am signed up to Ravelry, but haven't used it yet. Your crochet pattern is cute. I'm knitting a cushion. It's got cable panels & the yarn is purple merino dk. Next knitting projects are for Christmas presents: a jumper, 2 pairs funky men's socks & 3 bags, which will be filled with themed gifts. Got a pattern I want to knit for me, too, for a long tunic with a long zip down the back. Think will look great with jeans & boots. I LOVE knitting, esp socks. Sold quite a few pairs last year too! Hi

I stayed at home today instead of going into town.
There was an admin problem when my bank tried to send my my new card, which I didn't realise until I went into the branch the other day. So, they're having it sent to the branch for me to collect this coming week, which is fine.
Until then though, my current card has expired, so I can't spend anything online either!
I took some cash out at the branch yesterday to cover some things I needed to buy, and have some left over to pay for travel fares to work for the next few weeks.
Basically, until my new card comes, getting cash means going into town to the bank's branch... meaning I'm less likely to bother to get any out.

I've been busy today without leaving the house:
Increased earnings through MB to £115
Sold items on Ebay for total of £65
Added 10p to my sealed pot - it all helps!
Found some things to list on Ebay tomorrow
Paid final payment on my line of credit - whoop!
Paid monthly car payment - balance decreasing
All in all it's proving to be a good, debt busting weekend. Here's hoping it continues.....I need a few more!

Saturday was a good day for me with the following things:
*Today I only spent other peoples money, so NSD for me
*walked to the local shops instead of driving
*posted all my eBay listing and private listed items using mostly recycled packaging
*paid all eBay/private sales profits onto my current highest debt. £515 total
*went into Iceland to pick some bits up for mum, remembered to ask her for the money first and did NOT spend any of my own money impulsively whilst in there
*went into greggs with my partner but did not buy anything
* put some pound coins, a 20p and a 5p into my piggy bank
*completed Nectar adpoints limit for the week
*did dome swagbucks/survey work
Here's hoping Sunday will be productive too!Paid off my debts, saved up my cash and now I'm finally buying my own home!0 -
Awh, thanks guys!! And thanks for the French Onion Soup tip Foxgloves - might try that!!
I'm very rarely ill, but it seems to be doing the rounds at work!!
Not so much to update - plans today are to put the shed up so that we can now cycle to the allotment as we won't need to take the tools there and back each time!! Yay! Free exercise, better for the environment and no cost!!
Other than the shed, which is in the budget, today will be a NSD and also hope to do the following:
   30 day shred
   Nectar Adpoints
   Read news online
   Enter some competitions
   Check banking and skim accounts
Make a picnic for day up the allotment
   B/L/D from stores
Economy wash and OH to iron work uniform
That's all folks!! Enjoy your day in the beautiful sunshine!!!

Hey up chaps sorry been away and was working yesterday (and today)
Hope you're all well. Shootforthemoon - the weathers GRIM here so enjoy the sunshine!
GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOODMORNING SEPTEMBER.
I'd thought I'd start the month off with a ta-dah.
Its now officially 50 days til acquiring a husband. I'll stop now as it probably going to get a bit 'wedding-ish' in my life.
And, its also the first day of 'can we eat the food we have rather than the food I keep buying'. I'm doing a mini challenge
September will be interesting that's for sure.
I'm working today.
I must pay the rent online
I must eat out the cupboards until we're Old mother hubbard
Dogs to walk although the weather is grim
Doing a garden visit later to give someone some planning and advice probably need to draw up a plan and monthly to do list for them which will be interesting (paid)
Must chop some free wood
Try and make a 'sort of' meal plan
Wedding admin stuff
Total debt 26/4/18 <£1925 we were getting there.

Today i have/will:
-Check OLB
-Transfer some money to savings account
-Hang washing out on line
-Not have to fill up car with petrol (am only working 2 days next week)
Unfortunately thats about it, as its shoe and stationary shopping for the kids today!
Did all of that, and the back to school shopping only came to £45. I do have to get another pair of shoes (£20) though, but that'll be it.hummingbirddreamer wrote: »Hi

* take pictures of the cupboard doors sitting in our garage and list on facebay/gumtree & preloved

Gosh still so much of my weekend list left! So far today I have put a load of washing on - need to hang it on the line & put another load on
I have opened an isa and I will transfer last years paltry isa into a new one
Spoke to oh about our funds - it just isn't working in one account so going to have split it up into different savings pots and earn less interest. It's just not worth the hassle each month

froze 2 portions of mac & cheese
[STRIKE]ok going to get ready & go for a run [/STRIKE]:D love that just finished some exercise feeling

Hi folks, sorry I wasn't around yesterday but was out all day!
Got the washing on 30c half powder, got bedding to wash after that.
Already tidied upstairs and opened all windows for some air.
About to make some applesauce which will form part of our home made grain/gluten/dairy free BBQ sauce. Also some golden cauliflower soup.
I'm off to a baby shower this afternoon with the kids, the husband is off to his mums to help her sort/pack things for moving and my dad is coming round to finish the laminate in my hallway :T it's all empty and clean for him.
Hoping to list a few more things on eBay later but all depends on the kids!!!
