I have an Acer Revo R3610 which we have owned since new. Its currently running Win7 64-bit. It has 4GB of DDR2-PC5600 memory.
When it boots up, the Win7 desktop comes up online pretty fast, though it seems to be lagging until the Win7 chime sounds about 3-4 mins later. Once is chime sounds, its the end of the boot sequence and things don't start to lag.
Is there anyway I can find out what is causing a slow boot without restoring it again to factory image?
I have removed the cover, cleaned out the air-vents /fan etc. I have also removed the majority of the things from MsConfig.

Hi Gray,
Thanks for the reply. I've awarded it accordingly.
It gives me something to check out, as previous searches point to a NVidia SATA driver which I cant find, nor want to mess with at this stage..0
