splashdown quaywest or splashdown poole?

We are camping in Dorset and looking to go to one of the above but I can't work out which is the better one/has better rides.

I've read the reviews etc so know what to expect but any advice would be appreciated on choosing the better one.

I'd suggest location could be a deciding factor - where in Dorset are you camping?

Poole is in the east of the county and Quaywest is in Paignton South Devon, something over 100 miles away.

Apart from that I have no idea how they compare apart from what the websites say.

We were staying at Portland this summer and went to Poole Splashdown. We went about 3.30 - 4pm, as this is when it is less busy ( between 11-3 is the busiest time.) It may well be different outside of school hols.

We paid for the 2 hr slot - but no one asked us to leave after the time was up. We stayed about 30 mins over.

There are loads of different 'rides' to go on. Our party ranged in age from 8-50 yrs, and we all had a ball!

There are loads of eating places in the complex/area, though everywhere did seem popular & we ended up in Nando's .

No idea about Quaywest. Sorry.
