Hotel charging credit card after checkout

I booked a hotel though my company's booking system, that gives us flexibility, includign early checkout without penalty. The terms for this chain say "cancel on day before 4pm for no penalty"

I checked out of of a London hotel, paid the bill on my card, and they gave me a printed invoice for the same amount. A few days later charges of first £200, and then £100 pounds appeared on my credit card.
This they claim is an early checkout fee + a nights stay.
I have asked the hotel chain to either explain or supply me with an invoice with the full amount, so that I can claim from my company, they will not?
My company will only pay based on the invoice.

What should I do?

This is the first time I've had a problem with a hotel that I've booked through work.

Now solved

Hi did you do something like this = booked for 4 nights and only stayed 2 nights. Paid the bill for 2 nights while you have reserved your room for 4 nights.

The hotel would be out of profit as could not relet the room? so charged you £100 for loss of earnings?
The secret to success is making very small, yet constant changes.:)

The terms say checkout before 4pm for no additional charge.
Hotels can always book rooms. laterooms.com etc.

I dont think you answered the question . Or moreso i think you know why the hotel charged you but havent told that in your first post. Regardless of the T&C why not start again if youve booked more nights than you have stayed say so on this anon forum

I found an answer. I gave them feed back on both facebook and twitter.
A full refund has hit my credit card today, with an "apology" from their general manager, and the correct invoice, and the best bit a free stay for 2 nights.

I know it's sorted now but I would have complained to the agent who makes bookings for my company (or the purchasing manager responsible for the contract) and got them to sort it out.
loose does not rhyme with choose but lose does and is the word you meant to write.
