Bought chairs from Tesco, now cheaper

Options
I'm so mad because I ordered 3 camping chairs from Tesco direct, which were delivered less than a week ago, and now they are £3 off each one. I used a free delivery code, but I could have saved £9 if I'd waited. I haven't even used the chairs. If I were to order a new set, could I take the ones I've got back to a local Tesco's?

really, to save £9 you will take a trip to tescos, then come back home and order a new set of chairs on internet, then wait for them to arrive...........again.

£9 is £9 - mind you you have to way up how much time, effort and fuel you are using let alone the damage to the environment you are doing in going back to a store. The simple answer is always to put off your purchases as they will always come down in price.

You could write a letter to Tesco cust services. Well, I had a very similar situation with a TV from Argos a few years back, it was reduced by 30 quid right after I bought it. They sent me 30 quid vouchers :)

    Mmm, tough one.
I mean is it worth the hassle to send those babies back just get a 9 squids refund.
And also will your free delivery code work again?
I'd put it down to experiance if it was me.
    And shop in Asda. ;)

I wonder if you would be as keen to return/repurchase if they had increased in price, as they could well have done!

Also unless Tesco have an extended returns policy or they are faulty, you are outside the DSR regulations of 7 days for returning unwanted items.

Put it down to experience and move on.

You paid a market price that you were happy with ... all sounds good to me.
